Disable the Adaptive Battery:
Open your device Setting app
Tap on 'Battery' then make sure 'Battery Saver' is OFF
Tap on 'Adaptive Preferences' and ensure "Adaptive Battery" is turned off
Once you've checked these settings:
From the device Settings app, tap on 'Apps'
Tap on 'Medisafe'
Tap on 'App battery usage' and check that "Unrestricted" is selected.
Android 14
Check the Battery Settings:
Open the Settings app on your device
Tap on 'Battery'
Tap on 'Battery Saver'
Toggle OFF the 'Use Battery Saver' setting
On this same screen, tap on 'Adaptive Battery'
Toggle OFF 'Use Adaptive Battery'
Return to the main Settings menu:
Tap on 'Apps'
Tap on 'Medisafe'
Tap on 'Notifications'
Tap on all of the "Reminder" sub-categories such as Med Reminder, General Reminder, etc and toggle ON all of the options
Return to the previous 'Medisafe' settings screen
Tap on 'App Battery Usage'
Select 'Unrestricted' then return to the Medisafe settings screen
Scroll down and toggle OFF 'Pause Activity'
Scroll down to 'Advanced' and tap on 'Display over other apps'
Toggle ON the 'Display over other apps' setting
