I am not receiving notifications - Samsung (Android 12)

No notifications on Samsung device using Android 12

Updated over a year ago

Please check the following settings:

  1. Open device Settings

  2. Tap on “Apps”

  3. Find Medisafe

  4. Make sure Notifications are not Blocked

  5. Tap to turn 'Show notifications' On


You can also use the following steps to check your Battery Optimization settings.

Adaptive Battery

  1. Open device Settings

  2. Tap on “Battery and device care”

  3. Select “Battery” then tap More battery settings”

  4. Disable the “Adaptive battery” setting.

Advanced Adaptive Battery

  1. Navigate to Settings

  2. Tap on ‘Battery and device care’

  3. Tap Battery then tap Background usage limits

  4. Disable “put unused apps to sleep”

  5. Tap on “Sleeping apps”

  6. Tap the three dots at the top right and select “Edit apps”

  7. If 'Medisafe' appears in this list, select 'Medisafe' and then tap on “Remove” Navigate back to Battery settings and tap More battery settings Disable the ”Adaptive battery” setting

Unrestricted app Battery Settings

  1. Open device Settings

  2. Tap on “Apps” and select 'Medisafe'

  3. Tap “Battery” then Select “Unrestricted”

Battery Optimization

  1. Open device Settings

  2. Tap on “Battery and device care”

  3. Tap the three dots at the top right and select “Automation”

  4. Deactivate “Auto optimize daily”
