Updated over 3 months ago

Medfriend

Dependent

Viewing permissions only, cannot mark doses or add medications

Full access and control: able to edit meds, add more and mark doses

Reminders sent for missed doses only

Reminders sent for all scheduled doses at the time scheduled

Best used for people who do not need constant monitoring or assistance in managing medications

Best used for people who cannot manage or administer their own medications

It is important to know what kind of permissions you will need for the person you are caregiver for in order to proceed with the best option for you and your situation.

  • If you are a caregiver to someone who is tracking their own medications and managing their schedule on their own, the Medfriend feature will be best.

  • If you are managing another person's medications and need to have control over their profile, you will want to add their information to a Dependent profile on your account.

Please note: the Medfriend missed dose reminders are only sent if no action is made on the dose reminder 30 minutes after the scheduled dose time. The Medfriend will receive a missed dose reminder 1 hour after the scheduled time.
