No notifications on an iOS device

General Troubleshooting

Please first restart your device.

If you still do not receive notifications:

  1. Open the Settings app

  2. Tap on 'Notifications'

  3. Then scroll to tap on 'Medisafe' and ensure all of the necessary settings are turned on.

iOS 17.1 and up

iOS updates may automatically assign your device in DND (do not disturb) or a different 'Focus' mode when you are supposed to be receiving the notifications.

To check the Focus settings:

  1. Open your device 'Settings'

  2. Tap 'Focus'

  3. Tap 'Do Not Disturb'

  4. Tap 'Apps' under 'Allow notifications from'

  5. Then tap 'Add Apps'

  6. Add the Medisafe app

Enable Critical Alerts, Time Sensitive Notifications, and Background App Refresh

  1. Open your device 'Settings'

  2. Scroll down the list of apps and tap on 'Medisafe'

  3. Enable 'Background App Refresh' on this screen

  4. From the same screen, tap on 'Notifications'

  5. Toggle ON 'Critical Alerts' and 'Time Sensitive Notifications'
