I am only receiving my device's default sound with Medisafe notifications, not my selected Medtone - Samsung

Samsung sending notifications with the device default sound

Sometimes, Samsung devices will assign the default sound for Medisafe's notification. Please use the following to help correct the sound:

  1. Open device Settings and tap on 'Apps & Notifications'

  2. Choose Medisafe app from the list

  3. Click Notifications

  4. In Reminders list choose Med Reminder

  5. Choose Sound in the list of Advanced Settings

  6. Check that ringtone is provided by the app and not default

You can also try the following:

Sometimes when transferring apps to a new device, the sound will not carry over. To fix this, you can delete and reinstall the app on your new phone.
